Very disappointing service. My order showed up with an item missing and a wrong item in the box also. When I rang to query this, I was told that both items were out of stock, even though I had receive a no correspondence to notify me of this. The package took over a week to get to me and in that time, I never received an email to let me know of the out of stock items. This was also in the weeks leading up to Christmas and all the items were gifts. The refund was not processed until weeks after I had received the package without the item.
Another item was just completely wrong and when I queried this, I was told the item I originally ordered was out of stock everywhere so they just decided to put in a different item instead. I’m not sure what was the thinking behind this- if they were hoping it would go unnoticed, I don’t know. I was disappointed regardless as I have very limited mobility at the moment, so I couldn’t return the wrong item to the store.
On top of this, Carroll’s announced they had a sale on recently. A friend of mine sent me a link of two items in the sale, advertised as in stock on the website- the two items I never received. Very confusing how they could be selling off two items in the sale, that are apparently out of stock in all stores and online?
Very confusing and disappointing service overall. Would not be placing an order with them again.
