Installation date was planned very promptly. Telephone contact clear and re-assuring. We were advised on the day that the installation would be slightly delayed but arrival on site was at the rescheduled time. Installation was efficiently and neatly carried out. We were surprised to be told that we needed an earth rod as we had not been warned about this. We also had not been told that there must not be anything metallic within two metres of the charging socket. Our outside light had to be disconnected as it had a metal frame. (Double insulated plastic light fitted subsequently). Renault had said that installation would be at no extra cost but this was not clear from the Chargemaster documentation. Possible additional cost to the customer needs to be more transparent. Our Renault agent needs to be better informed about all of this. All in all, a good job.
