Had the home charge point installed very promptly after my paperwork was sorted. There was an additional charge of £50 as I had no spare slots in my fusebox so an additional box was also installed for the charge point. The installer arrived at the time and day agreed and walked me through the process. A few concerns from me as to the installation of the earth rod but I was informed this could be moved to somewhere else and less visible. A few hours later, everything was up and running except the smart element, which the installer told me may take a day. I received my car about a month later and have used the charger 3 times. I have had no issues with the charging and have scheduled it with the car as opposed to the smart charger itself. The charger itself does talk to the app and has given me the readouts of my charging history, which seems to correctly record the information. I went with a tethered unit, as the cable is a tiny bit longer than normal cables and after a day of rain, I was happier to wind the cable around the charger than put it in my boot
