My experience with Cheap Flights Fares was very poor. After much frustration with the website working poorly, I was quite flustered. I inadvertently bought a ticket with a return one month beyond my requested date. I phoned the number given immediately. The agent told me I could not change the flight as it was my mistake. I had purchased an "assurance guarantee" so he did say I would get a refund of the ticket price. This turned into a classic Bait and Switch tactic: he immediately tried to sell me a ticket for the same flight for $259--$116 more than the original price of $143. That soon dropped to $162. But then, I would have to "acknowledge" the offer in an email. But what did "acknowledge" mean, I asked. Turns out it that in clicking "acknowledge" I would actually be accepting the offer. After spending two HOURs--talking with the agent but mostly waiting for him--I was done. I am glad I spent a little to ge that assurance clause. I will NEVER use Cheap Flight Fares again, and will advise all my friends to avoid it as well.
