UPDATE:
Immediately after reading my review, Lauren from the customer resolution team reached out , by phone , text and email to get a hold of me to address what happened. When we spoke on the phone she was sincerely concerned , and listening to what happened, proceeded to see what she could do to bring me the best solution to the issue. Which is all any customers want in the first place.
I was happy with the resolution she was able to offer and because of her sincere apologies and effort in showing that they do value me as a customer , and do not condone the previous. experience with the other agents , I’m am changing my review to 4 + stars., and will book in the future.
Companies that correct mistakes and value their customers , show they are worth doing business with.
I had booked one flight with Cheap Flight Fares before and things went well so I booked another flight.
I now discovered there is some dishonesty with how they operate.. The night after I booked a flight with them the price was $100 less for the same flight I just booked,
days before thanksgiving.
I called them about it and told the women who answered, she was quite rude and started lecturing me about prices are not Guaranteed, and that they don’t call us when the prices go up, etc. Actually you will get charged any difference if you not have finished your transaction , it’s happened before., or if you are changing your resv., plus the change fee.
Then I asked her to verify that I could cancel the flight within 24 hrs, she said only 24hrs New York time , even though it was booked in Pacific standard time.
When I called last night I had the customer rep asked me what price I was seeing for flights, ( when I was telling him I was looking for a better price), upon telling him, he quoted the same price , it was strange . Like he didn’t know the price till I mentioned what I had been quoted by other services. In hindsight it’s shady. After this very bad experience, I won’t be using Cheap Flight Fares again, and I advise others to steer clear.
