My series 2 coffee cup leaks. I contacted customer services - they asked for a lot of photos which I sent. They sent a new lid. It still leaks.
In one of their responses they say that “We do not consider this a product fault”
It doesn’t flood but it leaks enough to make your bag or anything else you are carrying it in wet. I sent photos of it being shaken and just held - with both hot and cold water! Obviously it leaks more when shaken but it leaks when not standing entirely upright and still - so transporting it is a challenge in my opinion
The final straw relating to the leak was the response below
“I do sincerely apologise if this was not made clear upon purchasing the item, but we do not state that the cup is leakproof anywhere on our website”
I certainly don’t want coffee in my handbag or sports bag
