On 13/3 I ordered Monaco furniture from CFS that was advertised as assembled and delivered within 5 to 10 working days. I had seen exactly the same furniture a lot cheaper on other websites but it was flat packed. My husband agreed to pay the extra so that it was fully assembled.
I received an email to say the furniture was due in on 23/3. Then received an email to say it would be delivered 26/3 which unfortunately was a day I worked so had to arrange for another day. I was then contacted and delivery was arranged between 10.00 and noon on 3/4. My son took a morning off work unpaid and waited in. By 12.30 there was no sign of delivery so I rang and spoke to someone who was very abrupt. He contacted the driver and was told it would be another 3 hours before delivery so we declined and another date was arranged 6/4. Eventually on the day the furniture arrived at 18.15 hours but was flat packed.
I have contacted the company a couple of times to try and get this rectified but they insist it was advertised as flat packed although all the other products in the Monaco range advertised is showing assembled (even the same furniture in a different colour). All CFS can say is we will assemble it for you but at a charge - don’t bother!
Was going to place a further order for my other son’s bedroom with CFS but not a chance now.
