My item was dispatched on Friday 2nd December and has been in the Peterborough Mail Center ever since.
The Chuckling Cheese Company do not respond to emails at all, despite saying they will within 24 hours. I emailed as soon as I noticed this was not moving on Monday 5th December, 4 days later I am still waiting for a reply.
The Chuckling Cheese Company do not answer the telephone. I made several attempts on the 6th & 7th December.
The Chuckling Cheese Company do not respond to voice mails you leave when they do not answer the telephone.
The complete and utter lack of service received here when trying to rescue a lost Christmas present was disappointing and unexpected. When things go wrong it is a good measure of a business as to how easily you can contact them and what they will do to help put things right and on this basis I would actively discourage people from using The Chuckling Cheese Company. You simply can not rely on them to help you should things go wrong.
I appreciate it looks as though this is an issue with Royal Mail but a complete inability to engage with The Chuckling Cheese Company will ensure that I never ever use them again and that is a great shame. At this point I am down the money I spent on the item with little to no hope of recovering the siutation.
