“Placed my order early morning 16th December 2024, didn't receive my parcel until 27th December ! I spent £85 on 2 christmas presents and I was unable to give them on the day, very disappointing. I should have read the reviews before but I didn't, I definitely would not have placed my order and 100% will never order again. I paid for wrapping and gift toppers, one of the gift toppers was missing and 'Zara' point blank refused to refund £1 for the missing item without providing photo proof. Also by the time my parcel arrived, the ice bags had melted ! Please please think twice before ordering from this company.”
“Don’t believe delivery times I ordered the 13th December (well before Christmas cut off) 3 presents and have an email guaranteeing it would be delivered before Christmas. I received it the 27th. They say 2-5 days delivery. They also have a delivery day choice but please ignore that as it’s not guaranteed….

“Order placed 18th November for delivery 27th December. It was a birthday present I even ordered the birthday tag and card so it was obvious it a birthday present. The hamper was not delivered until 3rd January 2025. I will most certainly NOT be ordering from this company again. When I complained I was told delivery dates are not guaranteed despite placing the order well in advance.”
“Christmas presents haven't arrived. No way of contacting to sort. No one answers phones, Web chat, email. If you contact in a social media platform, it's ignored. However, if someone (probably paid) writes something nice, they respond to that comment in seconds. Even trustpilot reviews aren't showing all the one stars. You have to click to see them. Wish I'd read them before I wasted nearly 40 pounds on presents that won't arrive, as they still haven't been picked. Ordered on the 7th Dec for delivery on the 20th. No word from them at all about guaranteed Christmas delivery. It's a total rip off company.

“SCAM DO NOT BUY. Ordered 14th December 24 had order confirmed for delivery 19th Dec, not even dispatched. Called to chase phone goes to disconnected number, no emails returned to confirm when order will be delivered. Web chat says no one available. No chance this order is gonna ship as there seem to be hundreds of people in the same position as me. Awful I will be reporting to trading standards”
“Everything. Put all the stuff in my basket- about 10 attempts later I still couldn’t pay. I suspect they dont want you to use a card but to sign up to some payment method that involves a sign up that keeps your card details. They also say they offer blue light discount but the card upload clearly isn’t set up to work so they don’t really. So basically don’t do what I did and spend ages buying a present and writing a card that you can’t actually buy.”

“I ordered 9 items with this company and when the delivery arrived the box was all battered and taped together ( see photo ) the items were part of a christmas pickle and cheese hamper for one of our friends - there was one item missing and when I reported this to company they asked me to send them pictures of the contents - I advised that they were part of a christmas hamper to a pickle lover friend of ours which we delivered to our friends (minus a jar of pickles) - it seems I am now in a stalemate situation with them - they won't resolve this because I can't send them a picture of the contents that I no longer have in my possession - they even asked me to ask our friend to open his christmas present in order to have a picture of the contents - how ridiculous - I can't even see what this would achieve we all know the contents and I can't take a picture of a missing item for goodness sake ! If this is how they conduct themselves over a £5 missing item the they can keep the pickles but on principle I will never buy from them again.”
“Delivery arrived damaged. X 2 leaking jars of pickles out of X 5. box was covered in vinegar. Both jars button on top of lid popped when pressed therefore suggesting items had been tampered with. Disposed of box and items immediately. When i made complaint i was advised nothing could be done as photos were required. Use this company at your own risk , but i would recommend you avoid at all cost .”

“Reading all these appalling reviews I felt I had to log my customer experience with Chuckling Cheese. I haven't given them 5 stars as I have had substitutions on a couple of occasions, but have been more than satisfied with delivery , quality and value of everything I've had.
I've ordered on numerous occasions [latest received 23/03/24], so feel I can speak with some justification. I will certainly order from them again.”

“I’d placed an order on 11/12/23 for special delivery on 22/12/2023 (in time for Christmas) 22/12/23 received an email to say my ordered is being prepared for delivery via ‘van delivery’. We’re now on 27/12/23 and I haven’t received my order, an apology or any update. I’d assumed being local to the warehouse, inhouse couriers would deliver my order rather than a 3rd party, which is understandable. Rang on 27/12/23 as this was the first day open after Christmas, to again receive no update, no apology or an expected delivery date. I was given two options a refund or to wait for the delivery. However, with no expected delivery date, no apology and 3 Christmas presents not received, how is that deemed an acceptable resolution. Customer service and warehouse operatives work at the same location, yet no one can seem to make sense of where my order is or when I will receive my order. I would spend your money on companies that will actually fulfil your order in the time scale THEY provide you with.”
“Awful company. I ordered 3 ciders and was sent 2 ruby beers and a stout and told that they reserve the right to substitute items. The recipient does not drink beer! Absolutely shocking customer service. Please avoid. I wish I had read reviews before ordering.”
