Tried to take a picture five different times to secure identity on LinkedIn and was unsuccessful each time after having tried multiple time to secure a acceptable picture of my ID.

LinkedIn, you should certainly consider using some other service, that being said, the LinkedIn service is not what it should or could be as well.
