We went to Clicks V&A about 6.30pm today to exchange a faulty kettle which I had bought yesterday. I was treated with disdain. The lady at the front desk said to her male assistant to fill the kettle up with water to see if it was “over steaming” as I said it was. And it did.
I have never been so humiliated by having an item I bought the day before, checked in this way!
Consumer rights says the customer is well within their rights to exchange up to 7 days. Let alone that the item was faulty.
Please retrain your staff on treating customers better.
