The Montville Clock Shop is what all retailers should be. They not only have a wonderful range of quality clocks, ranging from a teeny tiny Cuckoo Clock to the mighty and majestic Grandfather clocks, but they also have beer steins, gifts, decorations, Christmas gherkins, barometers, hygrometers, thermometers, Galileo Thermometers (don't ask me what the difference is) music boxes, hats and watches. The shop is the size of a good sized hanky so it's worth the visit just to see how they squeezed everything in. But what makes this place so special is the level of service offered. Knowledgable, courteous and efficient. Must be a German thing because they're really good at it. And while the clock shop would thrive just on that alone, their online shopping is first rate. Easy to navigate, intuitive, good quality photos, accurate descriptions and the product availability is up to date. No trying to order something they haven't had in for twelve months at the Clock Shop online. And if that isn't enough, they also do repairs and there's plenty of parking. Which is worth visiting for that reason alone.
