Despite my minimal usage of the service, my request for a refund was met with rigid and inflexible responses. The customer support representative, Petra, demonstrated a lack of understanding and professionalism by providing inappropriate analogies and failing to address my concerns adequately. Repeated mistakes in addressing my personal details further eroded my confidence in their customer service. As a European customer using a personal card for payment, I am entitled to consumer protection rights, including the right to a refund within the trial period. However, Contabo's refusal to honor this right left me with no choice but to consider initiating a chargeback through my bank. The customer support team's inability to escalate the issue or provide a satisfactory resolution highlights a significant flaw in Contabo's service approach. Their rigid adherence to policy without considering the customer's perspective is unacceptable and unprofessional.
