I visited the store today to buy some essential items for my mother who has a disability. Upon entering the store I was allowed in by security. At the check out an employee by the name of Kelvin seized my mothers membership card and advised she will have to collect it herself despite me pleading with him he refused to return the card. When I requested to speak to a manger he questioned my request. I then proceeded to look for a manager myself. A manager by the name of Dominque was extremely rude, impatient and advised that my mothers membership will be ceased because she has a disability when I asked her where in the terms and a conditions it stipulates this clause she failed to provide me with a satisfactory answer instead she shouted at me and refused to provide me with the head offices email address. My mother has been an executive member of Costco since 2010, I am appalled by the way she has been treated due to her disability. I will engaging a solicitor to write to the business regarding the awful treatment of my mother. I would strongly advise customers to not shop at this store especially if you have a disability.
