I am not a Costco member. I ordered two chairs that were on sale during MA tax free weekend and paid the non member surcharge. I received a confirmation email immediately. . Two days later my ordered was canceled by a second email.
I called them. An expired Costco member number was somehow attached to my order. And even though I paid the non member surcharge, their computer system canceled my order because of this.After 40 minutes on the phone, they said if I reordered they would refund the additional amount I would now have to pay if I called them after delivery of the chairs. They offered me a $20 card for a future item for the inconvenience.
The woman on the phone was very nice, but I did not want to have to call again and waste more time to get my money back. I will shop somewhere else.
