Currys customer service is a joke.
I wanted to purchase a hob and oven, told the sales man the two items I wanted and that I was paying cash. For some reason he said I would have to buy a gift card and do it that way???. He put the order through for the oven no problem but the hob order didn't go through but the money was taken off the card. I was told the money would go back on the card in 24 hours so had to return to the store to reorder. Two days later and no refund . I had booked an electrician to fit the appliances so needed both items in two days time. I returned to the store and was told I would have to pay for another hob and they would refund the money when it went back on the card. Funnily enough I didn't have to buy a gift card this time ??. Four weeks later, five visits to the store at Pips Hill Basildon, three phone calls to head office, three Emails to Currys , no refund on the card and no response at all I was rather Pixxxx off. Finally I went back to the store and demanded my money back . It was eventually refunded after sitting in the store for an hour. Currys still haven't responded to any Emails or phone calls so be warned they will take your money but if you have a problem they will totally ignore you until you start shouting in the store.
