Bought 2 X Amazon Fire @ £34.99 for Xmas presents over the Black Friday few days, now there has been no show at the Royal Mail despite getting a tracking number & order email, Royal Mail showing as not received from supplier yet. Phoned Currys twice, been fobbed off twice on the phone that it will be looked into over 10 days and advised I would probably just get a refund !!! .... Eventually and of course if I go elsewhere now will have to pay the £49.99. Wish I just picked them up from Argos or Tesco on Black Friday if I'd know what a shambles currys online would be !!!! ... Haven't used Currys for years, as thought there customer service may have improved by now.. I was wrong and will avoid In The future.
I said my local store has them for click and collect can I not pick them up? And of course if the other 2 eventually show up I can return them. ...they said no I would have to buy them at there current price of £49.99, but in the meantime they've got my payment and I'm having to wait until 20 December for them probably not to resolve and just give me a refund. .... Furious that they won't honour the price or send out a Replacement, or that I'm able to go to my local store and pick up two with my receipt of purchase. I now think the Black Friday deal was just a big scam ....
