Bought a laptop just before Christmas. Ordered online and collected. Manager at Bracknell refused to exchange as box was opened. Given some rubbish about data protection that everyone spouts as an excuse for everything nowadays. It had not been used or even turned on, just wanted a different one. Didn't argue too much but got home to read on my receipt that they do indeed accept returns, opened, if notified within 14 days,rather than 21 days( which we did) 'If you pay peanuts you get Monkey's' but I think even monkeys could do better -they have vey little competition nowadays so what do they care.
