I bought a portable Toshiba HD on one of the cashback deals. The salesman Roger said we had to wait at least 30 days before claiming the cashback online. I have just tried claiming my money, but this has apparently now 'already expired' as a deal. Roger didn't tell us there was an expiry date. I hate these cash back deals!
For you wriggling out and welching on the deal especially as such a large company is dreadful behaviour. I think this is very poor customer service.
