we purchased a dishwasher from the shop floor and unless we paid extra delivery was intended to be in a few weeks.On the day we travelled to the property (50 miles) as we had not moved in. We had a slot between 3 & 7 p.m. and waited until we received a call at nearly 7p.m. to say they could not make the delivery as they had run over time.I told them that i would not be available for the rest of the week but they still tried to deliver on the next day to no avail.I then had to arrange another date and was surprised that when Know How turned up they asked which appliance they had come to service!!! I asked Currys for a refund and was told I had to go back to the shop to get this- another trip!
They agreed that they would give me more discount as the price had gone down and they would deliver at a time to suit.After a fortnight I tried to contact them only to be told they had damaged the machine badly and I could not have it.This a complete lack of customer service thank goodness for AO. com who restored my faith and showed how a business should be run.Currys wasted a lot of y time and money without so much as an apology.
