Last August I purchased a new washing machine from Currys. When it was delivered despite it being a heavy machine only one man carried it in while the other sat outside,as a result of this the machine was dropped ripping my new lino.He did not apologise or even do a test run on the machine to check it was working,which it was not as the door had been damaged. I called Currys that afternoon about the problems,they advised me to e mail them a photo of the damage to my lino which I did asap,and they gave me another number to contact re the faulty machine.After a lot of hassle (they did not make it easy) I had a new machine delivered.However,regarding my torn lino, the contractors who delivered the machine lied and told Currys my lino was already torn. I explained that this was an utter lie,it was in fact new and I had e mailed them the damage asap as advised.They continued to say they had to take the word of their contractors,basically accusing me of lying.
Their customer service was non existant,the worst I have ever had and as a result of my experience I will never shop at Currys again,and am strongly advising others not too!
