I purchased the Beko washing from Curry's Gloucester with a sale assistant in the store via his iPad, I paid for a delivery date for it to arrive at my new address in Odiham on 24 sept 202 at 0800.
The washing machine arrived on time, when I took the the first layer of packaging off I noticed immediately the cable that plugs into the electrical socket had split, I stopped unpacking it, and immediately I contacted the customer service number.
The gave me a uplift reference number and said I would be called in 24 hrs to arrange a pick up and drop off of a new machine.
48hrs passed and still no telephone call. I have spoken to three different people via the how to return your items automated telephone service with multiple individuals giving me different instructions.
One said he'd send an engeneer out to fix the cable, but couldn't say when, another said the store would contact me and make the arrangements, still no contact from them, and another woman said she couldn't help me at all and didn't know what was going on.
They seem to not have a clue what their doing, and trying to arrange a replacement washing machine has been a nightmare!! I have still not hear anything from them and I need a machine to wash my uniform as I work in a hospital and cannot go into work with dirty clothes.
Because the whole experience was not giving me confidence in Curry's or the team, I thought it is best to check the rest of the machine given the polava I am having.
When I have taken the rest of the packaging off I have noticed the side of the machine is also dented, I believe it has been dropped and that's why the cable has split, So I am hugely concerned that the machine could be damaged internally aswell.
So here I am sat in my kitchen now out of pocket £250 pounds with a damaged dodgie machine, that I can't seem to get exchanged or replaced.
I need someone to contact me ASAP and resolve this matter as quite frankly I am discusted by the way this had been handled and will never buy from Curry's again.
I have just moved into a new home and had planned to get all my white goods and kitchen appliances from Curry's however after this i will never buy from curry’s again.
