My 17 y/o daughter underwent a new scoliosis surgery in 2020. For her “spineversary” I wanted something unique and memorable. Just like the experience was for the two of us. We spent a month in New York in the middle of Covid, getting a surgery that only 3 doctors in the country performed. All so her back could still bend and move like normal. This experience deserved more than balloons and a cake. I had this idea to have her spine made into a pendant for her. The team at custom made took the X-rays and sent me several options. And each time, I made a different choice or backed up and went another direction it wasn’t an issue. They are patient, kind, communicative. My project felt like it was just as important to them as it was to me. And when I finally said it was perfect. They sent it right on thru and I had the pendants in 2 short weeks. The detail work is amazing. We have people ask us, “is that a spine?” That shows just how amazing. I would easily use custom made again.
