Where to start, I've had three different pieces made by Custom Made over a few years. Every time that I started a project with them they treated it with careful precision to get the vision that I was looking for in each piece. For the first project, I had a design drawn by an artist I knew and it was an atypical shape from what Custom Made was used to, but the team that worked with me back then came up with a solution so that the piece would look as I envisioned it. When it arrived I was elated and happy with it because down the stone chosen, it was everything that I had wanted. After this project, I fell out with the artist that helped me design it and it may be silly but I became unable to wear the piece anymore. I decided at the moment to make another piece, one that was entirely designed by me with references from other sources. I started the new project and the team was happy to start anew with me. I gave the pieces for the vision that I wanted and the team set to work with the shape and they adjusted the design to any of the specifications that I saw, no matter how many there were. For example, the spacing on the piece between the stone and the lines on it. The design team worked with me until the spacing between the center stone and the design was exactly the distance I was looking for. From here, they also helped me with picking out a stone color. I wanted a slightly lighter stone than what was provided and they went out of their way to ensure they got the correct color. When this piece was done and it arrived I was even happier than the first one because it was everything that I imagined and more. Then I wanted a variation of this piece because I had a new vision for it, that it would be one of three and the size of the second piece did not work with all outfits as shallow as that sounds...So I approached the old project and spoke with Eloisa who answered me. She was more than happy to begin my revamped version of my original piece. The process went the same as before and surprising even me, she and the team still focused on every detail of the piece even though it was the same piece all in order to make sure that it was exactly as I wanted. When the piece was done I had a last-moment thought process about putting an inscription on the back. I didn't want to inconvenience the team after they worked so hard but I just wanted to see if it was possible to put the inscription on. Eloisa was kind and understanding and was able to stop the piece from being shipped and added the inscription. When it arrived, as I now wear it, I finally feel like the piece is where I wanted it to be. At the same time as this project, I opened another one with Oshin, who got to be the person that got yet another entirely new piece that I had envisioned for my cousin. My cousin helped design it to their specifics and Oshin was patient with each detail that formed and shaped the piece differently. There were some adjustments to the design that I added by doodling on it and sending it back to Oshin and when I was given an image back, my cousin and I were thrown by how gorgeous it looked and how meticulous the design team was to get each detail even with such a horrible drawing! The unique thing that happened with this piece was I ended up working with Eloisa again after the piece went into production. Something happened to the piece the first time so Eloisa told me the piece would need to be redone because the design team would not tolerate imperfection in the metal. Talk about service! So while that was happening, I told her about an inscription to go on the back of this piece as well and she was not sure if it would work because of the design, but instead of telling me 'No' she went out of her way with the design team to once again, rework the design to include the inscription. From here on out, it was a surprise for my cousin so I saw the final result and the inscription of the piece and everything is gorgeous. I shipped it to her and I cannot wait for her birthday this July when she will finally see it. Custom Made is a company that is dedicated not just to the job, but to the happiness and accuracy of the customer's requests. They were my first stop thanks to my cousin (Whom I had the last piece made) in getting that first piece made and I cannot fathom going anywhere else. Whenever someone asks me where I got my piece I always tell them, Custom Made. There are a few more projects I will have with them and though I don't know when that will be for all of them- I won't be going anywhere else. I attached some photos, but I did not want to share what the pieces look like as I have an agreement with Custom Made that it would not be replicated or shared, but you can see the love and care they put into putting those inscriptions!
