The cake arrived on time and looked lovely. However the taste was disappointing, in fact it did not taste of anything. It was not really a nice treat to have for a celebration. The pictures looked great but no one was able to eat more than a polite spoonful.
It’s a shame. I got it for my husband’s birthday and it was a disappointment.
The layers were tasteless. Both the creamy part and the soft. The outer creamy layer was very beautiful but utterly tasteless. Not even sweet. It was like eating a piece of butter.
