The cake itself looked lovely and tasted nice – but we had a very stressful delivery. The delivery slots are very limited – our venue didn’t open until 10 am and at 8 am I received a failed delivery notice which gave me severe anxiety. We were told that we could receive the cake any time up to 9 pm but our wedding lunch slot was only for 3 hours. After a very stressful conversation I told them to contact the delivery company and have the cake put on the doorstep and hopefully it wouldn’t get stolen. Luckily it was on the doorstep when the manager came to open up the venue at 10 am.
