Didn’t think you could go wrong with such a simple sponge cake but it was too dense to eat and the buttercream was too thick and mostly ended up in the bin. Needless to say, no one had seconds. *Update* I received a full-value voucher following this review and ordered a small pistachio and passionfruit cake and box of vegan cookies. I purposely ordered a cake without any buttercream on the outside and it was a good shout. The sponge was also less dense so overall a pretty good cake. The taste cookies weren't amazing, but I guess for vegan cookies, not bad.
