The cake was delicious. However, the delivery experience was awful. The delivery driver ended up delivering the cake to a completely different location nowhere near where we lived. I called customer care to report the cake had not been delivered to us and the notes from the driver he had on his system was different to the email confirmation we had received. He had told us the notes said the cake has been delivered to the house next door because we weren’t in. I had to explain that on the email we received there is photograph of the cake being left outside a random house. We were in at the time of delivery and we live in an apartment not a house so the cake has definitely been delivered to the incorrect address. He said he will call the driver and call me back. Over 30 mins later still did not receive a phone call so I called back spoke with the same person. No apology for not calling back just said the driver will redeliver the cake but could not provide any further details in regards to timings. When the cake was finally delivered there was no apology from the driver for delivering to the incorrect address instead was annoyed at us for the fact he had to go back to get the cake from the address he had wrongly delivered to which caused delays to his day... what an inconvenience! The cake was also delivered damaged which did not help the situation. Even though the cake was delicious, the service provided by the driver and customer care team was very disappointing and has put me off ordering from Cutter and Squidge again.
