Strangely, my review didn't end up appearing and I am having to type this all over again. I would recommend purchasing a chocolate cake over the fruit cakes. The cake sponge was moist and paired well with the custard, crispy pearls and freeze fried strawberries but the strawberry buttercream was greasy and cloying. This made for an unpleasant combination so we scraped off the entire frosting on top of the cake and cut out the buttercream bits sandwiched between.
