The platform presents an interesting learning experience, but it is unfortunately not a holistic experience. The field manual mentions how some of the activities in the challenge are related to cybersecurity, but this is not the norm. Some challenges are difficult to complete without the use of the game's virtual machine. I have not been able to get the game's virtual machine to work though I have been able to work quite efficiently with Kali Linux on a virtual machine.
