I purchased refurbished laptop from Dell Latitude 5490. When I start to add my details and connect to the internet. Few minutes later, it switched it self off. When I restarted it again, the screen showed, your "Device needs to be repaired, files either corrupted or missing". Next day, I contacted Dell team, technical staff, retail team. I made 9 long phone calls and send 27 emails over 6 weeks trying to fix the problem. However, I never receive any constructive advice except very trivial naïve advice sent by e-mail such as press F11 key!!!. At the end I spoke to customer service and got told this laptop is 5 years old and no history of refurbishment. I feel extremely annoyed and realized what is Dell and Dell team like. I paid £321.60 for 15 minutes Dell laptop. I sincerely hope one of the managerial team see this and allow me to either to replace, or return or the least to repair. It is experience indeed. I concluded that, the refurbished laptop I purchased (£321.60)from Dell has no value at all and Dell team skills is not up to standard. It was waste of money, effort and time.
