No one seems to know what they’re doing.
On April 4th, 2024, my new (purchased November 9th 2023) stopped working.
Called Dell and had an agent run through different fixes with me. None worked. It was determined that I needed a new motherboard.
On April 7th, a tech came to my house and replaced the motherboard. The computer still didn’t work. It was determined that the hard drive needed replacing.
On April 11, a tech came to replace the hard drive. It still doesn’t work. However, the tech said the hard drive was fine but the OS was corrupt. He replaced the hard drive anyway since that was what he was told to do.
(Beware, each technician has one job. If they install a new hard drive, they are not allowed to do anything else….like, install an OS…even if they know how to do it) He took the old drive (which has all of my data on it but only allowed me 10 days to save it….hard to do without an OS;)

Resolution Specialist to call. The call was scheduled for 4:30 EST.
She still hasn’t called.
I have not been able to meet work deadlines for over a week.
Dell Corporate is my last option since no one on the “help” line knows what they’re doing. Am going to try and connect with a contact there.
I need a new computer.
