Dell is truly no longer the prominent company as they once were years ago. My Dell Inspiron 7506 2n1 screen went out after just two (2) years so I returned to Dell for service at my cost of $60. It took them 2 weeks to figure out that they needed to replace the screen so I paid the estimate for completing the repairs. I did not hear back and had to call when I did not hear anything further. The poor English and the language barrier made it very difficult to understand the further problems they discovered after they “repaired” the screen. They alleged finding further problems that ultimately required me to pay another up-charge to completely replace the motherboard. I had no choice but to pay it. Again I did not hear back and when I called for status they advised they just received it from me and needed to diagnose the problems! But still after it was mailed back (at my cost), there have since been further new problems. But there is absolutely no way I’m going to pay to send it back to them again. I have never written a review but want to warn others to reconsider companies other than Dell if you are looking for a quality product and a company that is committed to reliable customer support. Dell absolutely fails in all areas.
