First of all, after pressing ten buttons, when they connect you to a customer care, they'll randomly disconnect the call after keeping you on hold.
My computer is just a year old and already has a faulty hinge that will not allow me to close it. No other laptop I have used had had this issue and Dell claims to be super study and reliable. After doing a hardware analysis over the phone, Dell classified this as a 'cosmetic' issue when it renders my laptop impossible to use, and said it's not under warranty. So they connected me to their sales team who slammed me with a massive screen replacement bill of INR 8000 without offering to even look at the laptop. When I requested for a technician, they said they'll charge inr 1500. Also, they'd take two wks and won't let me keep the old screen. So basically, without a diagnosis, I have to go ahead and pay them inr8000 and they'll take away my current screen as well, after two weeks of waiting. That's how shabby their service is.
These guys have the worst customer support I have seen in recent years. If this corporation had a shred of integrity, it would have moved to a different planet by now.
Shame on you, Dell. Your customer care sucks.
