Technical support and customer support tell you that they will check something and then they hang up. Looks like they want to discourage you from asking questions or organizing an on-site setup. When you stay on hold for over half an hour and then get hung up on twice, one tends to call a local computer service provider and pay for service that should be provided by Dell with a sale of a new computer.
The Dell representatives from the Philippines seem to be just reading from scripts and repeat the same answer to different questions that I asked.
They could not connect the invoice number or the customer number or the order number to the so-called tag number or express number that they kept repeating they wanted. I was calling from a location different from where the location of the new desktop I had purchased from my mother is and they hung up on me twice, pretending they were looking up the tag number, as I had given them the order number.
Really pathetic!!!
I will never buy Dell computers for my office, ever!!!
