I eyed the vail stools when I bought my new house in 2022. At the time, I thought the quality of my stools would be no big deal, so I went with a much lesser stool from a big box retailer. My next door neighbor, however, did not. She had the vail stools and after having dinner there the other day, I realized my mistake immediately. I ordered six vail stools in white with walnut accent wood the very next day. They are incredibly comfortable and I find myself sitting at the island much more since I bought them. They have become my remote work office chair. Lesson learned, go with my gut. I love the chairs and my only regret was not buying them two years ago.
