Do not use Depop. They don’t value protecting their customers at all. Several years ago I bought items from a seller who misrepresented everything. The worst was a pair of pants her listing claimed were a size 12. They were in fact a size 0. When I contacted her about the issue she was like “oh well too bad…you can just re-sell them to someone else.” So I left a negative review. She then started threatening me…which was scary because we lived in the same city then and she had my address. She started demanding I take down the negative review. After that I stopped buying anything on Depop. Fast- forward to almost a year later, and I get a message from Depop threatening to close my account. She had flagged my review as “fraudulent”. I explained the issue to Depop…they didn’t really care. I told them I wanted my account deleted with immediate effect.
