Purchased a Toshiba 50in smart tv November 2022 tv screen started failing 6 weeks ago colored lines on bottom of screen. Failed completely 4 weeks ago. Rang customer service twice 10 and 23 September waiting on the phone for forty mins each time. CS guy was to contact his manager and Toshiba. first told me only 12months guarantee. told him EU COSTUMER PROTECTION DIRECTIVE 2019/771 states minimum 2 year cover on all goods sold in the EU. he then said he was sending an EMAIL straight away to the Toshiba guy. got no emails or answers from him since. Phoned yesterday holding tor 30 to 40 mins no answer DID electrical customer service just want to fob you off and hope you get fed up trying to contact them and just give up.
