Dogs trust are MOST DEFINITELY NOT INTERESTED in rehoming dogs with people that have the knowledge and experience of the breed they are applying for plus the right environment for the dog. I have applied 4 times for the breed of dog that I HAVE OVER 30 YEARS of experience in keeping and training even when the onsite description reads MUST HAVE BREED EXPERIENCE. I have on each occasion ONLY RECEIVED an automated email stating that I am not a suitable or a good match . Nobody from Dogs Trust has ever contacted me directly. I would NOT be offering to rehome a dog if I didn't have the time, knowledge,experience or facilities to after it properly. I applied to the Dogs Trust to help a dog that needs a home. DOGS SHOULD DEFINITELY NOT TRUST THE DOGS TRUST to act in their best interests. One star only because there isn't the choice to leave 0.
