I have been calling D&G for a week now regarding my hob that no longer functions .
My first 2 calls the guys were quite helpful , however I couldn't get any of their engineers out for over 2weeks wait , I was advised to find one from checkertrades which I did . Paid him myself and he wrote a report saying that my hob is
unrepairable. I have sent all the paperwork to an address by email 2 days ago , no response from them so I have called again
Only to be told could take 5 to 10 days to for them to get back to me after being told previously that should be contacted within 24 hours . When I called today I couldn't be put through to the department that makes any decisions. Meantime I have no way of making normal meals for my family and feel that having an insurance policy which I've had 18years and paid . Very disappointed the whole point of having insurance is for a quick and speedy resolution on important items in your home .
They need to up their game . Blaming Covid for the lack of them making a decision quickly I'm sure if your at home or at an office working you can make a decision straight away .
