Our appliance was insured with domestic and general, when we suspected there was a fault it was so easy to report and book an engineer.
The engineer kept in contact with me about the upcoming appointment, arrived when he was scheduled to, and was most helpful. He diagnosed the fault after just 5minutes and within the hour domestic and general had the follow up booked. Same day d&g contacted me to say that they had decided the machine had to be replaced and to go via a secure link and choose my new appliance! I had a choice of over 10 machines like for like as my appliance but different models and designs etc. I quickly found a replacement and within 24 hours it was scheduled to be delivered to me. Received after 48hrs. A very quick turnaround and I was most pleased and all I had to pay was an optional £20 charge to the delivery company to take my old appliance away for recycling which I was more than happy to do. D&G kept me updated at every step of the process and even after delivery have continued to email and check that everything is as it should be and have repurchased a new insurance policy with my new machine.
Really glad we decided to insure our white goods and would definitely recommend to everyone that I tell about it.
