Purchased a cooker hood online. Received an email to say the item was going to be delivered to the couriers in a couple of days and once they’ve received it, I’d be given a delivery date. I was told to expect delays due to the current issues with HGV drivers. I then received another email a week later to say that the item wasn’t actually in stock (some sort of error with their stock taking!).
I wouldn’t have minded if I had been notified on the day it was supposed to have been shipped to the couriers. It would have given me a little more time to source the hood ready for the kitchen fitters. Instead, I managed to find the hood but it came a day too late and as yet, hasn’t been fitted.
Really disappointed with the service. If you can’t fulfill an order, please notify your customers immediately. The only reason why I’ve given two stars is because you issued a refund without any lengthy delays.
