I have worked with doordash on both sides, restaurant and also ordering for myself. Doordash is terrible. They make you wait 2 hours after not receiving your food to cancel the order otherwise you still have to pay for the food you didn't get. Ridiculous. Then when you try to call customer service, it literally takes over an hour for help. Even then, working at a restaurant that let's doordash deliver for us, I've seen people not get their orders fixed for DAYS. When people want to eat, they want to eat now. Not wait hours to see if someone will finally get them their food they already paid for. The app shouldn't allow people to place orders if there is no available drivers in the area. Our restaurant wasted so much food having to throw it away because there were no drivers to get it. I dont understand how this company got so big for being such a terrible service.
