It's honestly becoming a huge issue to receive what I ordered HOW I ordered it. Doordash allows restaurants to not allow notes and that is a DANGEROUS situation when it comes to allergies, but also inconvenient for people that don't like cheese for example or maybe the specific sauce needs to be on the side. I take initiative and CALL the restaurant to relay light cheese, or sauce on the side but WITHOUT the proof of the notes it turns into a he said she said situation. The customer then is the one left dissatisfied AND out of the VERY costly fee. The whole point of this service is for convenience but lately it has been CONSISTENTLY wrong, bad, cold or anything BUT convenient. For the most part, UBER EATS allows notes from the consumer which is in THEIR favor as well because it is documented what was ordered AND how. I received a 5.94cent refund for something my family would NOT eat because the RESTAURANT messed up NOT ME! So I essentially paid for TRASH and doordash said they would be flagging my complaints because I simply want what I PAID for or a refund, I'd even accept dash credits. I am extremely unhappy with this service and have NO plans on using doordash if this is how customers are treated. I will be posting this on Google as well as anywhere else I can. This has gone beyond reasonable treatment of a customer for such an expensive service.
