Placed a grocery order at 5:30 23 items total. Original eta for arrival was 6:15
7:30 rolls around and there is no update on the order and the store was now closed. I was unable to contact the dasher, so I reached out to customer support. They stated they were unable to contact the dasher but that the order was “being picked up” app showed dasher was checking out. Then, they suddenly tell me the dasher is on the way, I can’t see where they are on my end. Customer support stated 3 minutes away, cancels my order, than ends the chat!?! One, why did the dasher take 2 hours with my groceries, that need temperature control and where were they during that time? I asked, and got no response. Second, why would they arbitrarily cancel my order if the driver was minutes away? Waiting over 2 hours for groceries for them to be cancelled 3 minutes from arrival is senseless! No groceries for me, the dasher now has a free fridge full. Never ever again! Customer support Kept ending chat…more than frustrating and did absolutely nothing to make it right.
