Order a few items that cost me $40. Door dash I feel keeps just adding more and more fees. Take and take. Service fee, dasher fee, dasher tip. It’s horrible. When I recently ordered my last order. I got the milk I ordered but the bag of items had someone else’s items. Contacted support, and provided pictures and proof. They advised me that the refund request was denied on their end and had to be sent to special team to review which would take 3 hours. They told me they would also request for a reorder. Once I waited 3 hours for my refund and reorder email. They only refunded me which I now have to wait 3-5 business days for my money back. They advised there is no reorder because they refunded me. Okay… so, I don’t get my food and have to wait until the end of next week for my money back? Door dash really needs to do more evaluation of their employees because this happens way too often. Additionally, why not just hold the funds until you know the order was successful so you can just give it back if there are any issues? The fees are rediculous. Are grocery stores going to start also charging service fees and tips?
