I am very disappointed with my recent experience with DoorDash. I placed my order with clear instructions for the driver to ring my apartment number and deliver to my door. Unfortunately, the driver left my order in front of the building (a block of 4 apartments) without even bothering to ring, despite the freezing temperatures (around -15°C). My order was left outside for 30 minutes, and of course, it arrived cold. This was only my 3rd order with DoorDash, and the first two were fine. I contacted customer service to request a refund, but they told me it wasn’t possible. I insisted multiple times, but to no avail. The only compensation offered was $8, which doesn’t come close to making up for the poor delivery and quality of the food. I’m really disappointed by the lack of professionalism and the response from customer service. I do not recommend.
