Despite paying £46.19 for the collection and despatch of a high value item and ensuring that item was securely packed, upon arrival item was found to be damaged. Unfortunately the consignee did not immediately inform me of this ( I was made aware over 2 weeks after receipt of the parcel) As a result DPD have refused to consider my claim for compensation.
I will never use DPD again and will make sure that I warn everyone I know to avoid this Company, which charges a premium rate but providea a very poor service.
