Two failed deliveries even though the tracker put him less than 3 minutes from my house. Do not use DPD if you need reliable delivery

I wish I could rate them lower! I live in a flat and everytime I have a delivery with DPD the drivers can never be bothered to get out of their van and ring the buzzer! I have been in all day waiting, checking on the app, how many stops I am until it is delivered. Next minute receive a text saying I missed the deliver! The drivers name in the case was Davinder, delivering in Slough area. LAZY.

The driver failed to deliver my parcels for two consecutive days and updated the status to “Missed Parcel.” The parcels are from IKEA and Likewise. The driver left without ringing the doorbell even once. I called customer service and also left messages to the driver, instructing them to press the room number and call me if there were any issues, but it was no use. To make matters worse, they assigned the same parcel number to both the IKEA and Likewise items, causing the Likewise parcel to be untraceable. Although this service is rated as 5-star, the Clacton-on-Sea representative, Gwen, is absolutely terrible. I feel awful.

Worst delivery company ever. Bunch of con artists....you pay for express delivery before 12pm and it gets delivered late afternoon...very dishonest company..

I was promised a delivery yesterday but got a message saying the driver couldnt find my address ,they have delivered to me before so I dont believe that they tried to deliver .

Ordered flowers for Mothers day and paid Extra to get it delivered on Sunday. There was a issue in the depot apparently. now the gift will not arrive on time. Did live chat to get help but generic sorry message and downloadthe app got shoved to my screen.

3 times now. Get given an hour slot for delivery I'm sat waiting then I get a message sorry we missed you with a picture clearly taken from inside their van and it's a picture from the road of the shop I live above.

getting one star because I can't give any lower, payed for 1-3 day delivery, one week later still waiting. Numerous calls and they haven't a clue what day it is never mind were the parcel is.

Disappointed with my recent experience with DPD. My parcel (Tracking No: 15503215292428E) was delayed at their sortation facility and then returned to the sender (Transglobe Ltd) without any explanation—despite no issues on my end. Now, the sender is asking me to pay an extra £40 to resend it, which is completely unfair. With Eid approaching, this delay has caused major inconvenience. Transparency and accountability are key in logistics—DPD, can you clarify why this happened and how this can be resolved?"

Worthy of a minus * rating . Continuously get a one hour delivery window last minute then a sorry we missed you message with a picture of the front door clearly from the van window and not attempting to deliver. This time it was “craig” then the next day delivery got cancelled which has been detrimental to my business. Absolutely shocking. Im not one to review but they need to sort of whatever issues going on.

I’ve had the most frustrating experience with DPD, and honestly, I’m starting to think they’re the new Evri when it comes to poor customer service. The entire process has been an absolute mess. First off, I scheduled a parcel collection, and the driver never showed up. I even got a confirmation email saying they'd pick it up, but no one arrived. When I tried reaching out to customer service, I was stuck waiting on hold for ages. Once I finally got through, they were no help at all – just gave me generic answers and didn’t bother to follow up. To make matters worse, the links they sent in the emails were broken! I tried tracking my parcel or rearranging the collection, but the links simply don’t work, leading to even more frustration. DPD, you really need to step up your game. This kind of poor service is unacceptable, and I’ll definitely be avoiding using your services in the future. You’ve really taken the crown from Evri as the most unreliable delivery company out there. Avoid them if you can!

Absolutely awful - a clothing delivery got to the sorting office and then got returned to the company - it didn’t even get delivered. They tried to then deliver a hoover which wasn’t able to be delivered to a pick up point - said it would be delivered on the Monday to my house and it went mia ! Shark had to resend out my hoover to which the company tried to deliver it to the pick up point that it can’t be delivered to - despite shark stating to deliver to my address as the pick up point can’t take it. The clothing parcel that went back to the sender got to the pick up point this time but the driver didn’t scan it to say it’d been delivered so I have no code to collect it ! Literally the worst company I’ve ever dealt with

DPD sent me a text saying they would deliver my parcel between 14:00 -15:00. They did not turn up, I phoned their help line several times and was lied to by operator, they say that they can’t track the driver but the local depot will phone me with update, but no one bothered to phone me, I have taken time off work inorder to sign for the parcel, how they think it’s acceptable to mess people about and tell lies, they should have there delivery license taken from them.

I am disabled but was at the door witing. I opened the door as the person arrived. But he did not even acknowledge me. Just dumped the parcel at my feet and walked off. I asked for help to just put the box in my door. He turned round, looked at me and then continued to walk off. I now have a delivery outside that I cannot retrieve and anyone can walk by and take it. I only asked for the person to move the parcel by 3 inches. But that seemed too much.

Although l didn’t pay for VIP delivery service, my experience was almost identical to ‘Anonymous’ of Roebuck Lane ! Two different drivers on different days Derek and Joseph claimed that the package was undeliverable. One of them posted a photograph of a house that’s not even in the right location and despite being at home to receive the item, no one came to the door, or telephoned or attempted to communicate. I went to the local depot, 5 minutes by car and spoke to an employee who sympathised and spoke to his line manager (at a guess). I was informed that delivery would be on Monday or Tuesday and today l discover that my package is being ‘returned to sender’. Most helpful ! The ability to speak to anyone by phone seems to be a bygone era. Decidedly poor service
