If you want a 'don't give a dam about you' attitude, use DPD
There is no option to rate 'No Stars' The delivery driver left the 'We tried to deliver your parcel' note in the safe place I had requested...Why did he not leave the actual parcel? When I rang to find out why my parcel had not been delivered, the automated message said 'The reason your parcel was not delivered was because there was no- one there to sign for it' but the email I had received from DPD that morning had stated, You do not need to sign for your parcel' I needed the contents of my parcel for a deadline, which was obviously missed. The parcel turned up a day later right out side my front door when I was not at home, no signature needed! I had paid £6.95 for faster delivery. Phone calls to DPD are met with an automated message about your parcel with no opportunity for you to speak to anyone, 'Live chat' has automated responses on a loop that have no relevance to your enquiry, there is no where to contact them or complain. Business's using DPD beware.. they are ruining the reputation of your company with their 'don't give a jot about you' attitude to customer service and this is reflected back on your company. In future, if I know a company is using DPD as their courier service I will not use that company.
